DMX: channels, addresses and universes

A DMX universe contains 512 control channels with 8-bit resolution per channel. A start address identifies the first channel a fixture receives. The number of channels used depends on the fixture's operating mode. Record the universe, start address and mode for every fixture. Check its manual and library before running effects.
